Statement of Commitment
MEETING MANAGEMENT SERVICES INC. is committed to treating all people in a way that allows them to maintain their dignity and independence. We believe in integration and equal opportunity. Accessible Emergency Information
Meeting Management Services Inc. is committed to providing customers and clients with publicly available emergency information in an accessible way upon request. We will also provide employees with disabilities with emergency response information (i.e. MERP).
Meeting Management Services Inc. will provide training to employees and other staff members on Ontario’s accessibility laws and on the Human Rights Code as it relates to people with disabilities. Training will be provided in a way that best suits the duties of employees and other staff members. Meeting Management Services Inc. will address accessibility issues in Company policy manuals and will ensure employees are provided with the training needed to meet Ontario’s accessibility laws by January 1, 2015.
Information and Communications
Meeting Management Services Inc. is committed to meeting the communication needs of people with disabilities. We will continue to consult with people with disabilities to determine their information and communication needs. Meeting Management Services Inc. will ensure all new internet web sites and content on those sites conform with WCAG 2.0, Level ‘A’ by January 1, 2014. Additionally, Meeting Management Services Inc. will ensure all internet web sites and content on those sites conform with WCAG 2.0,Level ‘AA’ by January 1, 2021. Meeting Management Services Inc. has developed and will continue to provide feedback processes that are available to people with disabilities. Meeting Management Services Inc. will also ensure all publicly available information is made accessible upon request by January 1, 2016.
Meeting Management Services Inc. is committed to fair and accessible employment practices. We will communicate to the general public and staff that Meeting Management Services Inc. will continue to accommodate people with disabilities during the recruitment and assessment processes when people are being hired.
